Bears-Johnny Needs Help with Time

Johnny says that when a clock shows a half hour time, the hour hand needs to be in between two hours.  He is correct, but he can't explain why this is true.  Can you help him explain it?
Also, Johnny says that this clock shows 10:02.  Is he right?  Why or why not?

    if the hour hand is in the middle of 7 and 8 the time is 7:30.he is not right the time is 10:10 -oc

    The reason why he is right is becase the minute hand is on the six and the hour hand is between the seven and the eight.Jhonny is wrong becasethe minute hand is on the two and the hour hand is on the ten.LOM
