Dr.Seuss real name was Ted. He was born on March 2nd 1904. He was not home schooled. His father was a part of the zoo. When Ted came home from the zoo he would draw animals on his wall. They never really looked like the real animals so he made up names for the animals. He lived in springfield MA. He was a cub scout for a while. He got kicked out of a school news paper called Jacko. He had to get back in so he had to go by his middle name Seuss.
