We've been working on adding and subtracting and different strategies for both. How are addition and subtraction the same and how are they different? What steps are the same in solving the problems and what steps are different?
Addition and subtration are different because one adds and subtrackes. They are the same because they are both a type of math. Another reason is, one of them makes more and one makes less. KW
Subtraction is diffrent from addition because you take away in subtraction and you add in addition. The same steps of addition and subtraction is that you always use numbers.
Addition and Subtraction are both in math. In addition you add. In subtraction you subtract. The steps are the same because first you always sould start out on the ones, then tens, hundreds, and possibly thousands.
