We've learned a lot in math this year. Now I'd like you to take some time to reflect and think about the very best topic we've learned in math. What skill do you think is most important. What can you use the most in your real life?
Some of the units we've done are place value, addition, subtraction, fractions, geometry, measurement, time, and graphing. For the Owls, we've also done money and multiplication.
Tell us what you think is the best math we've learned and use your opinion writing skills to convince others that that really is the best!
I think adding is the best strategey in Math because I can do a lot of addition problems exaple 600+264=864see it's easy. LOM

ReplyDeleteI have liked 3 things in math so far in 1st grade and they are money, place value, and measurement.I like money because... if you didn't know what money was you would think something that really cost 100$ dollers. You would think it cost 8 dollers. Another thing I like in math is place value. I like place value because... it's easy and it makes you think. Another thing I like about math is measurement. I like measusement because... you get to learn what inches and feet mean. -CLB
